Auto Wipers

Hiya

I’m having trouble with the rain sensing wipers. They work in the other three modes just nothing on auto regardless of sensitivity.

I’ve looked in the manual and it suggests that they should wipe once when the car is turned on as part of a self check. I don’t get that either

Any suggestions and am I missing something.

Mine doesn't do any wipe when i switch on but the auto function works perfectly as long as the arm is in the right position
