I’ve just bought an Ioniq 5 Ultimate and wow what a car!

I have a problem that I can’t figure out in that when I approach the car, the wing mirrors fold but when I touch the door handles, the doors don’t unlock?

I have the manual door handles not the electric ones and I can see the markings on the door where I have to place my finger but nothing works?

I’m guessing it must be a setting somewhere but where?

Any ideas?

I also have the Ultimate spec, with tech pack, and was surprised that it only had manual handles and not the electric pop out ones!
To operate the central locking from the handle button, you have to place your finger on the unlock square (it isn’t a touch sensor) and apply a small amount of pressure - the doors should unlock. It is the same to lock them.

I haven't taken delivery yet but based on Youtube (search on Ioniq 5 door handles)
I believe the feature is called 'Approach unlock' and can be controlled through the touch screen menu : Setup : Vehicle : door : approach unlock (enable/disable).
Hope you're successful and good luck.
